Frequently Asked Questions

What is Missional Enterprise?

Missional Enterprise is a division of The Navigators that is focused on equipping business leaders to build sustainable enterprises that have kingdom impact. We desire to see God honored through work that is both excellent and redemptive.

What is the Missional Enterprise National Conference 2026?

The National Conference is our inaugural gathering of business leaders, mentors, and aspiring entrepreneurs. It will be a time of equipping, catalyzing, training, and connecting, and attendees will walk away with clarity and community to do business in a way that is excellent and sustainable.

Who is this conference for?

This conference is for business leaders and aspiring business leaders who want to do work in a way that honors the Lord and makes a difference. We are passionate about multigenerational connections and discipleship, and pray the room is full of a mix of:

  • business leaders who wonder how to make a kingdom impact right where they are, without moving overseas.
  • entrepreneurs or younger leaders who are in early-stage dreaming or planning about how to create a successful business and steward their time, talents, and resources for the Lord.
  • mid-career leaders who are curious to deepen conversations about stewardship, discipleship, and leading with a servant’s heart.
  • older professionals who long to connect, disciple, encourage, and come alongside younger business leaders to help them make a difference and a profit.

What will happen during the conference?

The conference will include times of motivating keynotes, practical workshops, peer discussions, coaching, networking meals, spiritual reflection, and Biblical encouragement. Together we’ll gather, discuss, and plan how to do business in a way that makes a profit, makes a difference, and makes disciples.

How much will it cost?

Save $100 with early bird registration, open through Monday, September 7th.

After September 7th, registration increases to $599 (Standard), $499 (Shared room), $499 (Student Standard), and $399 (Student shared room).

Can I bring my spouse?

Absolutely! We encourage couples to attend! For spouses who want to enjoy lodging, meals, fellowship, and the amazing grounds of Glen Eyrie but not participate in the conference, we have a special rate of $299 for the entire weekend.

Is there a special rate for students?

Yes! Students get a discount of $100 off the registration price.

Is there a possibility of getting financial aid?

We don’t want the cost to keep anyone from participating. Please contact us at missionalenterprise@navigators.org to find out about the possibility of financial aid to enable you to come.

What is included with registration?

All keynote sessions, workshops, and peer group discussions. Two nights at the Glen Eyrie property. Meals Thursday dinner–Saturday lunch.

Is there any pre-conference session?

We are offering a special in-depth session on Thursday, November 12, 1-3 pm for those interested in discovering how to come alongside missional entrepreneurs to support and encourage them. In this special two-hour session, we will explore how to be a trusted companion to business leaders in their missional enterprise journeys through coaching, mentoring, leading cohorts, etc. This session is available at no cost.

Will there be free time to explore Colorado Springs?

We’ve scheduled an exciting number of workshops, sessions, and networking opportunities during the conference, but we invite you to come a bit early or stay later to explore the Garden of the Gods, downtown Colorado Springs, or the stunning mountains around the Glen Eyrie property. For recommendations during your stay, visit this local guide

How much experience do I need to have to come?

The amount of experience is not important. We simply ask that you have a heart to do business in a way that glorifies God and has a kingdom impact. Whether you’re dreaming up an idea or you’re a seasoned leader with decades of experience, we welcome your perspective, and we’d love to have your presence at the conference. The heartbeat of the Navigators is Life-to-Life Discipleship©, and we’re eager to bring together a room with a variety of ages and experiences.

Is missional enterprise only for people going overseas?

No! In fact, that’s one of our biggest reasons for putting on a conference like this: to show everyday business leaders that you can be missional and impactful right where you are. While doing business overseas can certainly be an approach to international missions, every believer and every business owner can make kingdom-minded choices to do work with excellence, integrity, and intentionality, making disciples right where you are.

What if I’m not currently involved in business?

We love connecting generations of believers. If you’re a student, we’d love to connect you to other business leaders and potential mentors. If you’re a seasoned professional, we know you have a lot to offer: in perspective, in experience, and in mentorship. As long as you have a desire to glorify God and steward your time, talent, and treasure for His purposes, we’d love to have you join.

I want to start a business, but I haven’t yet. Is this conference for me?

Yes! It’s easiest to build a business that glorifies God if you start with the right foundation. If you find yourself dreaming and planning a business, we welcome you to come to the conference and connect with other Kingdom-minded business leaders. We hope and pray this conference is a clarifying and catalyzing time for all!

Breakout and Workshop Sessions

There will be three breakout sessions during the conference, and four different topics available to choose from for each session.

First Session:

  • Missional Enterprise Foundations – Whether you’re exploring missional enterprise for the first time or want to deepen your understanding of its biblical foundations, this fast-paced, practical workshop provides a solid framework for everything else you’ll experience throughout the conference.
  • Leadership that Lasts – What do Scripture and modern neuroscience say about becoming an effective leader? More than you might expect. Explore practical, proven principles that help leaders build healthy organizations, cultivate lasting influence, lead out of joy (versus fear), and remain rooted in Christ through the plethora of leadership challenges.
  • Who Is My Neighbor? – Difference-Making through Missional Enterprise – Explore the biblical vision and best practices behind the third aspect of the Triple Bottom Line, and hear seasoned missional enterprise leaders share practical stories of serving neighborhoods, creating opportunity, and bringing Kingdom impact where they live and work.
  • Building Missional and Entrepreneurial Ecosystems – Discover how networks of businesses, ministries, churches, and community leaders are collaborating to advance God’s Kingdom in cities around the world. This session draws on global research and practical case studies to explore what these ecosystems have in common and how similar movements might emerge in your own community.

Second Session:

  • Kingdom Impact Plan – In this highly practical workshop, you’ll use a straightforward framework to explore how the Great Commission can be lived out through the business you lead, or hope to lead. You’ll leave with an actionable plan to pray, partner, and participate in the fulfillment of the Great Commission through your business.
  • Peer Coaching in Action – Experience the power of peer coaching firsthand! In this interactive session, you’ll learn the fundamentals of peer coaching and then practice it in a small group. Discover why this has become such a valuable part of our M3 Cohorts and leave with a practical tool for sharpening and encouraging one another.
  • The Faithful Steward: Financial Management for Missional Enterprise – Faithful stewardship requires both a biblical perspective and practical financial wisdom. Explore the principles of finance and accounting that help missional enterprise leaders make wise decisions, steward resources well, build trust through financial integrity, and maximize Kingdom impact.
  • Making Sense of LeadershipLeadership is an often overlooked but essential part of discipleship: if we exercise poor leadership in the enterprises we lead and build, people will doubt the validity of our claim to follow Christ, and our pursuit of the triple-bottom line will be compromised. But at the same time, there’s so much out there about leadership—which makes leadership complex, confusing, and often contradictory! But here’s the good news:  with a leadership framework that brings together all the elements of leadership into a coherent whole, we can know which elements are relevant and which are not … and in the process we will know how to build a genuinely healthy triple-bottom line … and create and build an enterprise that has a real impact for God’s kingdom.

Third Session:

  • Coming Alongside Missional Enterprise Leaders – Have you been wondering how God might use the business and discipling experience He has entrusted to you over the years? Explore what it means to serve as a Missional Enterprise Alongsider, including the principles and practices that make this role effective, and how to be the kind of person God can use to support and invest into missional enterprise leaders.
  • Disciplemaking Through Business – How do you intentionally make disciples while leading a business? This practical workshop explores the everyday habits of a disciplemaker, from studying Scripture together and cultivating prayer and obedience to walking alongside people as they grow in Christ. You’ll leave with practical tools and greater confidence to disciple others in the context of your business.
  • Business Acquisition as Mission (B(A)AM) – Instead of starting a missional enterprise from scratch, discover how acquiring an existing business can become a strategic pathway for advancing the Kingdom. Explore opportunities, challenges, and practical considerations for using business acquisition to create lasting impact in needy communities.
  • Marketing that Serves – Marketing is more than promotion; it’s understanding people, communicating clearly, and connecting them with genuine value. Explore practical marketing principles while discovering how a biblical perspective shapes the way we communicate, build trust, and serve others through our businesses.
