Better Together in Missional Enterprise

One of our core values at the US Navigators Missional Enterprise is that we Ally with one another. We learn together in community, not in isolation.

We endeavor to express this value of allying with others in our local communities, with others in the Navigators, and with people and organizations throughout the global body of Christ.

This week, we want to draw attention to several other organizations engaged in missional enterprise from whom we have benefitted greatly. There are dozens, but today we will feature two key organizations you may want to check out if you haven’t already.

BAM Global

BAM Global is a premier organization developing and supporting the worldwide business as mission (BAM) movement. We have been helped and encouraged especially by the BAM Global Conferences and the many excellent reports on a large variety of topics produced by BAM Global working groups. We have featured resources from BAM Global in several previous editions of M3 Weekly ( see Missional Enterprise in War TimeBAM Global MovementMissional Enterprise and Modern-Day SlaveryA Global GatheringThe First Thing, and You Can Do Nothing).

Faith Driven Entrepreneur

Faith Driven Entrepreneur (FDE) describes itself as “a movement dedicated to gathering one million Christ-following entrepreneurs and equipping them, so they can fulfill their call to create and transform the world around them.” We especially enjoy the weekly podcasts from Faith Driven Entrepreneur, featuring excellent, well-regarded guests from the world of business and Christian service. We have shared FDE content in many previous M3 Weekly editions (see Serious StewardshipUnlikely PlacesMissional Enterprise in War TimeWell Done, and The First Thing).

Verse(s) of the Week:

Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 (ESV)

Let’s make it our aim this week to co-labor more effectively, and make it our prayer that God will show us new opportunities to ally with others.
